IntermediateIslamic Studies Course For Kids
Master madd, the sifaat of the letters and the rules of noon & meem — live, one-on-one.
View courseThe Duha Quran Academy Islamic studies course for kindergarten introduces children aged 3 to 6 to Allah, the Prophets, and the Quran through stories and songs.
It is Islamic education for young children, taught live and one-to-one online by teachers trained in early years.
6–9This Islamic studies for kindergarten course is a live, one-to-one online course for ages 3 to 6.
Through stories, songs, and gentle repetition, your child learns the basics of Iman (faith), the Beautiful Names of Allah, the stories of the Prophets, how to make Wudu and pray Salah, and the opening Surahs of the Quran.
The course moves through four modules in a clear sequence, so your child can follow what comes next at a comfortable pace. Each module builds directly on the one before it, giving young learners the confidence that comes from genuine mastery.
Using stories, visual flashcards, and simple repetition, your child discovers who Allah is and learns the concept of Tawhid (the oneness of Allah), a selection of Asma ul Husna, and the six articles of Iman, with praise and celebration making every small achievement feel like a milestone.
Your child explores the stories of Prophet Adam, Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Musa, and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them all) at a kindergarten-appropriate level.
Your child learns the steps of Wudu, the basics of Salah, and Islamic Adab. Bismillah, Alhamdulillah, Assalamu Alaikum, and Jazakallahu Khairan become natural habits, practised session after session until they are simply part of how your child moves through the day.
Starting with Surah Al-Fatiha and short Surahs from Juz Amma, your child repeats after the teacher with correct pronunciation and basic Tajweed, learning not just how to recite, but what the words mean and why the Quran is special. Surahs learned here can stay with a child for life.
By the end of the course, your son or daughter can show a visible, demonstrable foundation in Islamic knowledge that you can see and hear in everyday life. Teachers adjust expectations to your child’s age within the same framework
Your child can say and recognise a set of Asma ul Husna, the Beautiful Names of Allah, and use them in simple sentences. When you ask “who made you?”, they answer with confidence, because they understand it.
In the final session, the teacher asks questions in a casual conversation, not a test format, to confirm the child recognises and uses the Names they have learned correctly.
Your child can recall the key events from the stories of at least four Prophets. They can name Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the last and final Messenger and explain, in their own words, why his story matters.
The child retells one Prophet’s story to the teacher from memory, without prompts, demonstrating sequence, key details, and the lesson they drew from it.
Your child can walk through the steps of Wudu in the correct order without prompting. This is a daily, visible skill that parents can see for themselves at home.
The child talks through and demonstrates the steps of Wudu in front of the camera, with a parent beside them, while the teacher observes order and completeness without giving any verbal cues.
Your child recites Surah Al-Fatiha and a minimum of three additional short Surahs from Juz Amma with age-appropriate pronunciation. They know these are the words of Allah and treat them with respect.
Each Surah is recited live to the teacher, who marks pronunciation, sequence, and Tajweed basics against a structured rubric shared with parents afterwards.
Your child uses Bismillah, Alhamdulillah, Assalamu Alaikum, and Jazakallahu Khairan naturally in daily life, with consistent practice in every session making these habits as normal as saying please and thank you.
Parents complete a short observation log in the final week, recording three to five instances per phrase used spontaneously at home, which the teacher reviews before issuing the completion certificate.
Your child knows that Muslims pray five times a day, can name the prayers, and has a basic understanding of what Salah means and why it matters. They can imitate the movements of Salah.
The child names all five prayers in Arabic and English, demonstrates two Salah positions correctly, and answers “why do we pray?” in their own words, scored on meaning, not exact wording.
A free trial class takes just 20 to 30 minutes and could be the start of your child’s love for the Quran and the Prophets.
The Duha Quran Academy Islamic studies for kindergarten course was built from the ground up for this age group, by teachers who specialise in early years Islamic learning. Here is what sets it apart.
Your child is never in a group, never waiting for their turn, and never overlooked. Every class is one-to-one, which means the teacher can move at your child's pace, notice the moment they are tired or distracted, and adjust the session in real time.
Working with children under 6 is a specialist skill. Our kindergarten teachers hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education alongside a recognised Islamic studies qualification from Al-Azhar University.
Each class runs for 20 to 30 minutes, a length that suits the attention span of children aged 3 to 6 and lets them learn without fatigue. We do not stretch sessions to fill an hour, because doing so serves the schedule, not the child.
Parents can sit in on any session without giving notice. Our platform is closed, private, and used exclusively for Duha Quran Academy classes. You know exactly who your child is speaking to, and you can see and hear everything that happens in the lesson.
After every five sessions, you receive a written progress update from your child's teacher, covering what was taught, what your child has mastered, and what the next sessions will focus on.
Morning, afternoon, or evening, weekday or weekend. You choose the day and time that works for your household, and if life changes, you can reschedule with 24 hours' notice. The course fits around your family, not the other way around.

Before-and-after journeys from students who started exactly where you are now.
The course is designed for children aged 3 to 6. The teacher adapts the pace and content to your child's specific age and development stage, so a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old receive different levels of depth within the same structured framework.
No prior knowledge is needed at all. The Islamic education for young children programme assumes your child is starting from zero. Many of the children who join have had no previous exposure to Islamic studies and that is completely normal and expected.
Each session runs for 20 to 30 minutes, which is the right length for kindergarten concentration spans. Most families book two sessions per week, completing the full course in approximately 16 to 20 weeks.
Yes, always and we encourage it. You are welcome to observe any session at any time. Being present during the first few classes also helps you reinforce what was taught when the session ends, which significantly speeds up your child's progress.
Our kindergarten teachers are trained to read young children's energy and mood in real time. If your child is struggling on a given day, the teacher will slow down, switch activity, or close the session early, whatever is right for the child.
Yes. You can specify a female teacher preference when you book, and we will match your child accordingly. All Duha Quran Academy kindergarten teachers, male and female, hold the same early years Islamic education qualifications.
