View courseDuha Quran Academy’s Islamic studies preschool course introduces children aged 3–6 to the Quran, Duas, Aqeedah, Arabic alphabet, and Islamic manners through short, joyful lessons that build a lifelong love for learning.
6–9This course gives children aged 3 to 6 a gentle, joyful start in Islamic studies. In live one-to-one online sessions, your child gets to know the Arabic letters, learn short surahs and everyday duas, understand the basic beliefs of Islam (Aqeedah) in simple words, and practise good manners (Adab) such as saying Salam and thanking Allah.
No previous knowledge is needed. Every lesson uses stories, songs, and play, so learning feels natural for a preschooler.
The Islamic studies preschool course runs across four progressive modules, with 25–30 minute sessions matched to a preschooler’s attention span. No prior Quran or Arabic knowledge is needed to begin. The course is built around four modules, each one taught step by step at your child's pace.
Your child is introduced to the Arabic letters through games, songs, and pictures, starting with the letters in their own name and the most common sounds. Letters are covered gradually, at the child's pace.
Children memorise key Surahs from Juz Amma, starting with Al-Fatiha, Al-Ikhlas, and Al-Falaq, Your child learns Surah Al-Fatiha and a few short surahs, together with four simple daily duas: before eating, after eating, before sleeping, and when waking up.
Your child learns, through simple stories, that Allah created everything, that Allah loves us, and the names of the six pillars of Iman in child-friendly words
Your child practises everyday manners: saying Salam, saying Bismillah, being kind to parents and friends, and sharing.
By the end of the Islamic studies preschool course at Duha Quran Academy, your child will have developed real, measurable skills you will see and hear in daily family life.
Your child recognises the Arabic letters taught in the lessons and can say their sounds, including when they see them in the Quran
The teacher assesses this skill using letter flashcards, asking the child to name each one aloud. A final module review confirms the child can identify all 28 letters without prompting.
Recite Surah Al-Fatiha with Guidance / With his or her teacher's help, your child recites Surah Al-Fatiha and, over time, a few short surahs.
Verification happens live in session: the teacher asks the child to recite without prompting, listens for correct word order, and sends parents a short recording as evidence of the outcome.
Your child will know and spontaneously use the Duas for eating, sleeping, waking, and leaving the house, not just in the classroom, but naturally within everyday family life at home.
Verification is done through situation prompts: the teacher says “you’re about to eat, what do you say?” If the child responds correctly and spontaneously, the Dua is marked as achieved.
Your child will explain all six pillars of Iman, belief in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and Qadar, in their own clear, confident, age-appropriate words.
The teacher verifies this through guided conversation, asking “what do Muslims believe in?” and listening for the child to name all six pillars unprompted, then sharing the results with parents.
Your child will greet others with Assalamu Alaikum, say Bismillah before tasks, thank Allah with Alhamdulillah, and show Adab, respecting parents, being kind to siblings, and sharing in daily interactions.
The teacher assesses Adab through role-play scenarios in session and a parent checklist shared at the end of the module, confirming which behaviours the child is using naturally at home.
Your child will retell a story from the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in their own words, who he was, why we love him, and one lesson from his character.
Verification is done in a dedicated session where the child retells the Seerah story unprompted in their own words, the teacher notes the detail level and shares findings with parents.
