6–9This course gives children aged 6 and above a clear, age-appropriate introduction to belief in angels, one of the six pillars of Iman. Starting from who the angels are and why Allah created them, your child learns the names of the angels, the duty of each one, and how belief in angels connects to the Quran and the Sunnah.
A dedicated module on Angel Jibreel helps children understand not only his name but why he was chosen to bring the Quran to the Prophet ﷺ.
Duha Quran Academy's course is built around understanding: your child learns who the angels are, what they do, and how belief in them connects to the Quran they already love, not only a list of names to memorise.
Every teacher holds a qualification in Islamic studies and has experience teaching young children, and knows how to introduce the angels at the right level.
Each unit is short and built to develop knowledge step by step, using Quranic stories, relatable examples, and guided questions.
Every session is a live class with a real teacher who can answer your child's questions, check understanding, and adapt the pace.
The course draws on the Quran and authentic Sunnah, and avoids cultural folklore and invented details. Your child learns the names and duties of the angels as they are reported in the sources.
Classes run seven days a week, in the morning, afternoon, and evening. You choose the days, times, and frequency that fit your routine.

Book Free TrialThe course has four modules, each building on the last, taking your child from who the angels are, through their names and duties, to how belief in angels shapes everyday life.
Children begin with the most basic question: who are the angels (Malaika), and how are they different from humans and Jinn? This module explains that angels were created from light (Nur), that they obey Allah completely, and that belief in angels is one of the six pillars of Iman. Quranic verses and age-appropriate stories make the topic clear and memorable.
Children learn the names of the main angels paired with each angel's role. These include Jibreel (who brought the Revelation), Mika'eel (responsible for rain), Israfeel (who will blow the Trumpet on the Day of Judgement), and Malak Al-Mawt (the Angel of Death). The module also introduces Ridwan, Malik, Munkar, and Nakeer in simple, age-appropriate language. By the end, your child can explain each angel's role in their own words.
Angel Jibreel (peace be upon him) has a dedicated module because of his role in bringing revelation. Children learn where he is named in the Quran, in Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah At-Tahrim, how he is described in Surah An-Najm, and about his meetings with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, including the first revelation in the cave of Hira. By the end, Jibreel is more than a familiar name: your child understands that he is the trusted angel Allah chose to carry His words to the Prophets.
The final module links belief in angels for kids to everyday life. Children learn about Al-Kiram Al-Katibeen, the noble angels who record our deeds, and about the angels who accompany and protect people. The module helps children move from knowledge to belief, growing in gratitude and Taqwa (God-consciousness), and is taught gently, with a focus on Allah's mercy.
By the end of the course, your child can name the angels, explain what each one does, and connect what they have learned to the Quran. Every outcome below is something your child can show you, not just something they have been told.
Name the Main Angels in Islam: Your child can name the main angels: Jibreel, Mika'eel, Israfeel, Malak Al-Mawt, Ridwan, Malik, Munkar and Nakeer, and Al-Kiram Al-Katibeen. They know that each is a real being with a real duty mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah.
Describe Each Angel's Role in Simple Words: Your child can describe each angel's duty in simple, accurate sentences, such as "Jibreel brought the Revelation from Allah to the Prophets" and "Al-Kiram Al-Katibeen write down what we do.
Connect Angel Jibreel to the Quran: Your child can explain who Jibreel is, why he is described in the Quran as a noble messenger, and how his role in bringing the Quran connects this course to the Book your child already reads. They can recognise his name in Quranic verses and understand why it appears alongside revelation.
Recite and Understand Quranic Verses About the Angels: Your child is introduced to selected verses (Ayat) that mention the angels, understands their meaning in age-appropriate language, and recites them with their context, so belief in angels rests on Allah's own words.
Explain Why Belief in Angels Is One of the Pillars of Iman: Your child can state that belief in angels is one of the six pillars of Iman and explain what that means in their own words.
Talk About the Angels in Everyday Life: Your child can give simple examples of how belief in angels connects to daily life, such as remembering that angels record our deeds, trying to do good, or asking Allah for help in dua. Teachers check this through short conversations.
