View courseDuha Quran Academy connects Muslim sisters with a certified female Arabic teacher through private, one-to-one online sessions. Each lesson covers Quranic vocabulary, Classical Arabic grammar, and conversational skills taught entirely in a female-only environment by a qualified native instructor.
Finding a qualified female Arabic teacher who fits around your schedule and understands the context of your faith is not straightforward. This program offers flexible session times across every time zone, English-medium instruction, and tutors who hold verified academic credentials, so sisters can begin without disrupting existing commitments.
6–9Each session reviews the previous lesson, introduces new Arabic letters, grammar, or vocabulary, and applies them to Quranic text. The tutor corrects pronunciation and grammar in real time, explains corrections in English, and assigns practice before the next lesson. Duha Quran Academy follows four phases: letter recognition and basic vocabulary, Nahw and Sarf grammar, root-based vocabulary building, and reading complete Surahs.
Classes are live and one-on-one. Your tutor works from a diagnostic assessment of your recitation and builds a personal plan around your actual weaknesses — not a generic lesson order.
Most Arabic programs are built for general language learners. This course is built specifically for Muslim sisters who want to read, understand, and engage with Quranic Arabic, taught by a certified female Arabic teacher in a completely private environment.
Every grammar example, vocabulary set, and reading exercise comes directly from the Quran. Sisters are not learning general Arabic that gets applied to Quranic text later; the Quran is the textbook from the first session. This distinction makes comprehension progress visible immediately.
Instead of memorising individual word lists, sisters learn to identify trilateral roots and decode derivatives across the Quran independently. This method is specific to this program and replaces rote memorisation with a transferable skill that works across every Surah.
Every tutor in this program is fluent in English and explains Nahw, Sarf, and vocabulary in plain English. Revert Muslims and sisters with no Arabic background can follow every session from day one without prior knowledge of the language.
Every session is one-to-one with no male presence at any point. Sisters learn in a fully female-only environment where they can ask questions freely. Duha Quran Academy assigns only female tutors to this course at every stage of the program.
Morning and evening slots are available globally, with session lengths of 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Missed sessions can be rescheduled, making the program accessible to busy mothers, working sisters, and students across different countries and schedules.
Sisters attend one complete session with a certified female Arabic teacher before committing to any plan. The trial covers a real lesson, not a consultation, so the sister can assess the teaching method and session format from direct experience.

Book Free TrialThe program follows four distinct phases, moving from alphabet foundations through to independent Quranic reading. Each phase has a clear entry point and a confirmed milestone before the next begins.
Sisters begin by learning to read, write, and correctly pronounce all 28 Arabic letters, with immediate attention to sounds that have no English equivalent. The tutor introduces the most frequently occurring Quranic words alongside letter study, so sisters start recognising familiar Quranic text within the first few sessions. Short sentence construction and basic root identification are introduced before the phase closes.
Learners move into foundational Nahw, covering sentence structure and case endings (I'rab), and Sarf, covering verb patterns and word derivation. The tutor draws every example directly from Quranic verses. Sisters read short passages, identify grammatical roles within them, and apply morphological rules to real text rather than abstract drills.
This phase focuses exclusively on the trilateral root word system. The tutor teaches sisters to identify a root, trace its derivatives across different Surahs, and decode unfamiliar words they have not seen before. Through this method, sisters work toward recognising approximately 80 percent of Quranic vocabulary without memorising individual word lists.
At the final phase, sisters read and analyse complete Surahs without relying on an English translation. Sessions cover grammatical analysis of longer passages, recognition of rhetorical structures in Quranic Arabic, and the fluency required to engage introductory-level classical Tafseer works directly in Arabic.
Each outcome below represents a skill sisters can perform and demonstrate after completing sessions with a certified female Arabic teacher at Duha Quran Academy, grounded in measurable Quranic and linguistic progress.
Sisters correctly pronounce all 28 Arabic letters, including sounds with no English equivalent, during live oral assessment with their assigned tutor at the close of Phase One.
The tutor records pronunciation errors throughout Phase One and confirms mastery through a structured oral review before the sister advances to grammar study.
Learners correctly identify case endings (I'rab), sentence structure, and verb patterns within actual Quranic verses, demonstrating applied Nahw competence rather than theoretical recitation alone.
The assigned tutor verifies this through grammatical analysis exercises drawn from Juz Amma and progressively longer Surahs across Phase Two of the course.
Through the root word method, sisters identify and understand approximately 80 percent of Quranic vocabulary, decoding unfamiliar derivatives by recognising their trilateral roots across different Surahs.
Progress is tracked through monthly vocabulary assessments administered by the assigned tutor throughout Phase Three of the program.
Sisters read short to medium Quranic passages directly in Arabic, identifying grammatical roles and vocabulary meanings without an English translation alongside.
Duha Quran Academy confirms this through structured verse-reading evaluations conducted at the end of each program phase, with written feedback provided to the sister after each assessment.
Sisters hold basic Arabic conversations covering daily topics including greetings, describing routines, and forming questions, using verb patterns and vocabulary built through structured conversational practice.
Tutors conduct spoken assessments at the 60-day mark to confirm each sister's conversational production before advancing to full fluency modules.
Upon program completion, sisters read introductory-level classical Tafseer passages in Arabic, using acquired Sarf and Nahw knowledge to follow scholarly commentary without full reliance on translated editions.
Tafseer reading practice is introduced during the final program phase as a confirmed applied-reading milestone, assessed through a live passage review with the tutor.
