You begin reading Quranic verses word by word, connecting every term to the root system from Module 1, mastering high-frequency Quranic vocabulary that produces the first real breakthroughs sisters feel during Salah.

Quranic Grammar In Context (Nahw & Sarf)
Module 3 covers the grammatical structures that give Quranic sentences their precise meaning: Nahw (syntax) and Sarf (word patterns), including nominal and verbal sentences, the case system, and pronoun suffixes. Every rule is taught from a real Quranic example.

Tafsir Reading & Independent Understanding

Pick any unfamiliar verse you have never studied before, read it without a translation, and produce your own word-by-word breakdown. If your meaning matches the translation when you check, the skill is real.
Identify Root Letters Independently
You will use the three-letter Arabic root system to decode unfamiliar Quranic words on your own, a skill that multiplies your effective vocabulary every time you encounter a new verse or Surah.
Pick an unfamiliar verse you have not studied, read it without a translation, and produce your own word-by-word breakdown. Your Ustadhah checks it against the standard translation, and a matching meaning confirms the skill.
Follow Tafsir Commentary With Confidence
You will read basic Tafsir sources in English alongside the Arabic text, understanding the lexical and grammatical points the scholar is drawing on, giving your Quran study a depth it did not have before.
Read a passage from an accessible Tafsir, such as Ibn Kathir’s abridged edition, and explain in your own words why the scholar made a specific grammatical or lexical point. If you can follow the reasoning without re-reading it multiple times, the skill is there.
Recognise Recurring Quranic Patterns
You will read basic Tafsir sources in English alongside the Arabic text and understand the lexical and grammatical points the scholar is drawing on, which gives your Quran study a depth it did not have before.
