Beginner6 Pillars of Iman for Kids — Online One-on-One Classes
Many children can recite the six articles of faith by name but cannot explain what a single one of them means. This…
View courseMany children grow up hearing duas without knowing what they mean or when to say them. The Dua & Adhkar Course for Kids at Duha Quran Academy helps change that.
The course is designed for children who are ready to build a closer relationship with Allah through dua. Whether your child is just starting their Islamic education or already knows some Surahs by heart, it offers a structured, joyful path to a daily habit.
6–9The Dua & Adhkar Course for Kids at Duha Quran Academy is a structured online course that teaches children the essential duas and Adhkar of daily Muslim life, with meaning, context, and correct Arabic pronunciation rather than rote repetition.
By the end, your child will have memorised the core supplications from the Sunnah and will know when to say them, why they matter, and how to say them as the Prophet ﷺ taught.
Duha Quran Academy's Dua & Adhkar Course for Kids is a live, teacher-led course. A qualified teacher listens to your child's pronunciation, corrects it in real time, and answers their questions, so your child builds a working daily dua practice, not only a memorised list.
Every session in the Dua & Adhkar Course for Kids is delivered live. Your child's teacher sees them, hears them, and adjusts the pace, tone, and explanation to the individual child in the session.
No algorithm, app, or pre-recorded video can do that and no pre-recorded lesson has ever corrected a child's Arabic pronunciation mid-sentence.
Every session is delivered live. Your child's teacher sees and hears them and adjusts the pace and explanation to the individual child.
Correct Arabic pronunciation matters in dua, because a mispronounced letter can change the meaning. From the first session, teachers gently correct pronunciation as it happens, before mistakes become habits.
Children aged five and twelve do not learn the same way. Teachers adjust their approach to the child's age and learning style, using visual cues, Quranic storytelling, and reward-based progress tracking for younger students, and deeper discussion of meaning for older ones.
Every teacher on this course holds an Islamic qualification and has training and experience in teaching young learners.

Book Free TrialThe course follows four modules that take children from understanding what dua is to building a confident, consistent daily practice. Each module builds on the one before it, and sessions are kept short and engaging to match a child's attention span.
Children begin with the most important question: what is a dua, and why does it matter? Your child learns that dua is a personal conversation with Allah, not just a ritual recited out of habit. Age-appropriate stories from the Quran and Sunnah show how the Prophets made dua and why sincerity matters. This module sets the intention and foundation for everything that follows. By the end, your child understands that dua is something we turn to throughout the day.
This is the heart of the course. Students memorise and practise the essential daily duas that fit the natural rhythm of a child's day: waking up, eating (the dua before eating, including what to say if they forgot at the start of the meal), after eating, leaving and entering the home, entering and leaving the bathroom, going to sleep, and wearing clothes. Each dua is taught in Arabic with careful pronunciation guidance, followed by its transliteration and English meaning.
Having built a foundation of everyday duas, students move to the Adhkar, the morning and evening remembrances the Prophet ﷺ taught as a daily protection. This module covers the most important Adhkar drawn from Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas, from Ayat Al-Kursi, and from selected hadiths, taught in a way children can understand. Students learn the meaning behind each phrase, why it is said, what it asks of Allah, and the benefits scholars mention for those who recite it regularly. Parent check-in prompts encourage home practice between sessions, so the morning and evening Adhkar become a regular part of the child's day.
The final module consolidates everything learned. Students recite the full range of daily duas and Adhkar covered in the course, from the dua before eating to the evening Adhkar, with growing fluency and without visual prompts. Teachers give individual feedback on any remaining pronunciation points and invite children to teach a dua to a family member. The module ends with a graduation recitation, where your child recites their duas from memory.
Every outcome below is something your child can demonstrate. These six skills are what your child builds over the course.
Your child says the dua before eating, including the short Bismillah and what to say if they forgot at the start of the meal, from memory, with careful pronunciation, and without prompting. The dua before eating for kids is usually one of the first duas children learn and one of the most visible to parents at home.
Your child recites the core morning and evening Adhkar, including Ayat Al-Kursi, the three Quls (Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas), and the supplications taught in the course, in sequence and from memory with correct pronunciation. This is assessed without visual aids at the end of Module 3.
Make a Personal Dua After Salah: Your child learns to make a sincere dua in their own words after Salah. Teachers guide them through the etiquette of dua: beginning with praise of Allah, sending Salah upon the Prophet ﷺ, asking clearly, and ending with Ameen.
Explain the Meaning of the Duas You Learn: Your child can explain, in simple language, what each major dua in the course means and why it is said at that moment, for example what Bismillah means or why we say Alhamdulillah after eating.
Recall the Core Duas Without Visual Prompts: Your child recites the daily duas covered in the course from memory, without flashcards, a phone screen, or a wall chart.
Build a Consistent Daily Dua Habit: By the final session, your child has a simple daily routine: morning Adhkar after Fajr, duas for everyday situations throughout the day, and evening Adhkar. Your child's teacher tracks progress and reports it to you during the final module.

Before-and-after journeys from students who started exactly where you are now.
The course is designed for children aged five to twelve. Teachers adjust the pace, vocabulary, and activities to the child's specific age group, sessions for a five-year-old look and feel different from sessions for a ten-year-old, even when both are covering the same Duas.
No prior Arabic knowledge is needed. The course begins with the Arabic text of each Dua read aloud and repeated with the teacher, pronunciation is guided step by step from the first session.
Children who can already read Arabic will progress faster, but complete beginners are warmly welcomed and well supported.
Most children can recite the core daily Duas for kids, including the Dua Before Eating, the sleeping Dua, and the waking Dua, with accurate Arabic pronunciation within the first four to six weeks of regular sessions.
Full course completion, including the morning and evening Adhkar, typically takes three to four months at two sessions per week.
Yes. When you book your free trial, you can share any preferences, including a preference for a male or female teacher.
If the assigned teacher is not the right fit after the trial session, Duha Quran Academy will match your child with a different specialist before the regular classes begin.
Missed sessions can be rescheduled at no extra cost, provided notice is given within the academy's cancellation window.
All session notes, including the Duas covered and the pronunciation points worked on, are shared with parents after every class, so your child can review the material before the next session and pick up exactly where they left off.
Both. Every Dua is taught in Arabic with correct pronunciation, and every session includes the transliteration and the English meaning so your child understands exactly what they are saying.
Teachers in the Dua & Adhkar Course for Kids treat comprehension as equally important as memorisation, a child who understands the Dua Before Eating will say it for life; a child who only memorised it as sounds, without knowing the meaning, typically stops once the classes end.
