How the Good Deeds Course Is Structured

The course introduces good deeds for kids through simple lessons that connect Islamic teachings with situations children encounter every day. Each module builds on the previous one, helping children understand good actions, recognise opportunities to do them, and develop a habit of kindness and helpfulness.

1

Understanding Good Deeds in Islam

Children begin by learning what a good deed means in Islam and why Muslims are encouraged to do good. They explore the importance of sincere intentions, kindness, helping others, and making positive choices in everyday situations.

2

Discovering Everyday Good Deeds

Children explore practical examples of doing good deeds kids can practise every day, such as helping parents, being kind to others, sharing, caring for people and animals, speaking kindly, and supporting someone who needs help. The focus is on showing children that good deeds can be simple actions.

3

Charity, Giving, and Helping Others

Children learn about generosity and different ways Muslims can benefit others through giving and helping. Age-appropriate examples introduce sadaqah (charity) and the idea of ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), and explain how acts of giving can become rewarding deeds in Islam for children.

4

Making Good Deeds a Daily Habit

The final module helps children think about how they can continue doing good beyond the lesson. They review what they have learned, identify opportunities to help others, and explore simple ways to make kindness, generosity, and good character part of their daily lives.
